Welcome Floor from The Netherlands!
Meet Floor Van der Aalst, an energetic 17-year-old representing the Netherlands as one of the two Dutch Regents of ISLI 2024. Currently navigating her second-to-last year of high school, Floor is a bundle of energy with a passion for the performing arts and a dream of pursuing a bachelor's degree in theatre education post-high school.
When she's not immersed in working for school, Floor finds her true calling in the rehearsal room or on the stage, where she loves to act, dance, and perform. Her commitment to the performing arts extends beyond personal enjoyment, as she actively contributes to the theatre community. This dedication to the arts positions her as an ideal contributor to the creative ambiance of ISLI 2024.
Floor's love for the outdoors is reflected in her role as a scouting leader, where she combines the joy of playing games with the fulfillment of teaching valuable lessons to children. The Dutch landscape, despite its flatness, holds a special place in her heart, providing ample opportunities for activities like skating and biking—a true reflection of the Dutch way of life.
