Meet Diana Dima, an intellectually and charismastic 17-year-old representing Belgium in ISLI 2024. Currently navigating the challenging waters of science and mathematics in her fifth year of high school at Sint-Franciscus College in Heusden-Zolder, Diana brings a passion for learning and a commitment to engaging in meaningful conversations and debates.
Beyond the confines of her school life, Diana finds joy in embracing new projects and experiments. Whether she is delving into the intricacies of scientific concepts or immersing herself in the art of writing, Diana demonstrates a versatile and inquisitive mind. Her penchant for martial arts not only showcases her physical prowess but also reflects her discipline and dedication.
A globetrotter at heart, Diana's love for travel has been nurtured by having lived in three different countries. With a deep-seated desire to explore unseen places and immerse herself in diverse cultures, Diana embodies the spirit of an adventurer. Her future aspirations include visiting as many new places as possible, driven by a curiosity that knows no bounds.
Last year, Diana ventured into ISLI with no preconceived expectations and found herself having one of the most enriching weeks of her life. Undeterred by the unexpected nature of her regency, she brings the same open-mindedness to ISLI 2024, eager to contribute her best efforts.
