  • ISLI is short for the International Student Leadership Institute. It is a European-American leadership program that empowers students to develop skills in teamwork, communication, and problem-solving.

The workshops during ISLI are focused on leadership development through hands-on activities both personal and in groups. Students work in small groups and learn to reflect on their own leadership skills.

The workshops are unlike daily school classes, because the students only have short presentation that are taught by their peers. The Student Regents were elected at the end of the last year’s ISLI and prepared short presentations on different leadership topics. After, the students take off to their color groups to prepare practical and creative tasks. During this preparation time, there are guiding facilitators who help them reflect on their collaboration.

ISLI fosters cultural exchange because we gather more than 150 students from all across Europe and the United States of America to one place. The students learn more about each other’s cultures.
